The Four Superstition In China
In the western countries, people think that '13" is an unlucky number. In China , "4" is an unlucky number. This is the four superstition. Because "4" pronounce as same as "dead" in Chinese. people always want to avoid the number "4" in their lives in China. For example, Chinese don't like to have "4" on their car's number, or their telephone number. Chinese don't like the others say "4" to him during the Chinese New Year, because it will be unlucky in this year. but now I think more and more chinese don't care the four superstition. a number is just only a number, it isn't a symbol for anything. because we always meet some lucky or unlucky things in our long lives, how we can handle it is really important, not just a number to decide anything. do you agree my opinion?

Nice writing, Lisa. You're the first person to explain to me that the reason for the superstition is that the word for "four" is the same as the word for "death." I guess in English its like "eight" and "ate," or "two" and "too," or "four" and "for." I think these are called homophones. Very interesting! Thank you for sharing.
